SWAC Football Honors: Week 12

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Prairie View A&M redshirt freshman quarterback Neiko Hollins, Alabama A&M senior linebacker Kenneth Davis, and Prairie View A&M wide receiver/return specialist Darius Floyd were all named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week for their outstanding play in week 12.

Neiko Hollins
QB, R-FR, Fresno, Texas

Hollins completed 23 of 35 passes for 348 yards and a career-high tying four touchdowns in 42-28 road win at Southland Conference member Incarnate Word. Hollins threw scoring passes of 48, 11, 28, and 49 yards in the win.

Defensive

Kenneth Davis
LB, SR, Pensacola, Fla.

Davis closed his collegiate career with 13 tackles (five solos, eight assisted) along with a sack and one and a half tackles for a loss in the Bulldogs’ 21-13 victory against Kentucky State.

Specialist

Darius Floyd
WR/KR, R-SR, Franklin, Texas

Floyd totaled a career-high 262 all-purpose yards in 42-28 win at Southland Conference member Incarnate Word…averaged 36.3 yards on three kickoff returns. He set career highs in receptions (11) and receiving yards (153) while tying a career-high with two touchdown receptions (48, 28) and averaged 18.7 yards every time he touched the football.
