OAKLAND, CA.- The United States of America celebrated its birthday on Thursday, July 4th, 2019. This is a letter to a friend in Southern California to remind her that we are still not free and our history is still dark.The United States of America must find its moral justice before it destroys itself.

HISTORY OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION

East St Louis Massacre 1917-250 died

Arkansas Massacre 1919- 150 died

Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma 1921 the United States Air Force bomb the city and started fires all over the city. 3,000 people died and the town brunt to the ground.

Rosewood Massacre 1923 – 150 people died and the town was burnt to the ground.

Look up The Emmitt Till Murder Case when a disabled Black teenager was beaten to death because he whistled at Carolyn Brant, a white woman the wrong way. They smashed his face in so badly his mother could not identify him.

Yet Black people are the animals, right?

Look up The Scottsboro Boys in 1931 were nine Black teenagers 13-20 falsely accused of rape in Alabama, by an all white jury. Question have you ever seen an all Black jury, answer, never, but we are supposed to be judged by our peers. Black people never get this chance.

Look up The Tuskegee Medical VD Study in 1932 where they infected 399 men with syphilis and let them die just to see what would happen. They called it “Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male” They did this without these men consent.

Yet Black people are animals, Right?

Look up The Move Bombing in Philadelphia, Penna. in 1985 when the elected officials in the city of Philadelphia blew up a complete city block which was ordered by the police chief and mayor. The Philadelphia Fire Department stood around and watched for an hour as the fire spread 11 adults were killed with 8 children trapped by fire and burned to death.

Yet Black people are animals, Right?

Look up The Central Park Five- Rape Case in 1989, when the police did not do their jobs to investigate the case completely before taking it to trial, incarcerating five Black and Latino boys for doing something they did not do..The NYPD just wanted anybody in jail to quiet the city.

Five years later they found the perpetrator and arrested him. Then millionaire Donald J. Trump stated these young men should be executed expanding the racial firestorm. This man placed ads in many papers in New York City costing $850 thousand dollars. Trump has yet to apologize to those five young men after they were proven innocent.

Yet Black people are animals, Right?

Now remember these are the cases that we know about.

Check out the movie “When they see us”, on Netflix because America still does not see us as human beings until we sing, make love, play sports, act stupid on TV, or create jokes, all non-threading acts.

REPARATIONS

America give reparations to Japanese-Americans for the internment camps in 1940-45, America gave reparations to German-Americans after World War I and II, America gave reparations to Jewish-Americans for the Holocaust and Chinese-American men for the labor on the west coast for building railroads but America continues to refuse to pay anything to African-Americans for free labor during slavery. FREE LABOR and now in 2019 they call African-Americans lazy.

These are just some of the reasons Black people are upset.

The current Trump administration has once again reopened old wounds with his racist acts and words the past two and half years. Trump has called on all of the racial and sexual dog whistles.

With the Muslim travel ban, the recent immigration policies on South Americans, he has called countries of color S***hole countries, his lack of passing any new civil rights laws in the United States, putting the citizenship question on the 2020 census. This continues the unnecessary racial turmoil and tension in this country.

HYPOCRISIES

The Black Lives Matter Movement is being called a threat but the KKK and Supremacist groups are not a threat. The Black Lives Matter Movement are a national terrorist group while the American supremacist groups are not, really? Do you know how silly this sounds? But most Americans believe this.

Question when was the last time a Black Lives Matter member killed or injured somebody? Then ask yourself how many times the KKK created conflict in the streets in the past five years, i.e., 2015 Charleston, South Carolina, 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia, 2017 Berkeley, California, 2018 Portland, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, San Francisco, California, Providence, Rhode Island, and 2019 Portland, Oregon.

That is the difference. The American government covers up for these radical terrorist groups by not putting them on the FBI list. So we must ask why is the Black Lives Matters Movement on the FBI list?

The United States took the right path of peace and justice until President Donald J. Trump entered the White House and now white privilege reigns supreme.

A classic example of this would be young adults entering prestigious colleges while minorities have to fight for that same right. Parents of these children paid millions for their children’s education, Black families cannot afford this. This is not the first time. It happened in 1940-50-60 and 70. How do you think Donald J. Trump graduated from his Ivy League school?

Black high school grads still find it difficult to enter college not because of their grades but because of their families finances. That is why African-Americans created HBCU- Historically Black Colleges and Universities throughout the south.

Then white America just could not resist stating these schools were inferior. America would have never landed on the moon without those three intelligent Black women who went to HBCU’s guiding Colonel Glenn around the earth in 1962 with their math skills.

When this nation starts treating people fairly and informing the American public the history correctly then we will have peace.

Now do you understand a little more about Black rage? If a Black person speaks peace or revolution it does not matter unless they turn into a sambo or step and fetch it. Feeding into those American stereo types. That’s what America loves because its non threatening.

We live in a great nation we just have to work together to make it better, Black people would love to be proud of our national anthem we are not. Read the third stanza of our national anthem. Black people would like to be proud to fly the stars and stripes they can’t when six states continue to carry the confederate flag in their state flag.

What former San Francisco 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick did four years ago and what American’s Women’s World Cup soccer champion Megan Rapinoe is doing today should not be happening, protest brings forth change and Colin and Megan will be forever part of American history.

Compare the rage against Colin Kaepernick four years ago vs. the rage against Megan Rapinoe today there is no comparison, and once again shows American racism.

If you have time read the book “White Rage,” by Doctor Carol Anderson. This was one of the best books I’ve read in many years. It discusses the relations of race in the United States and why we cannot come to terms with this issue. This is about power and control with some individuals who do not want to give it up.

This is the Black reality in the United States and some white people still don’t get it…
