BUFFALO, NY: The magic and determination of Ms. Alvina Alston is a testimony to the power of a made up mind. This powerful woman of faith, determination, and skill has become a major force in the area of media marketing.

Her list of past and current clients only reinforces why she is a power house in a field dominated by others. From entrepreneur, actor Ray J to Terrell Owens and boxing Champion Claressa Shields, Ms. Alston is putting her mark in the industry of media marketing. She takes pride in growing up in the projects of Buffalo and cites this along with her Mom, and faith as the source of her determined spirit.

Alvina is another product of the Buffalo Public Schools and is a 1989 graduate of Bennett High School.  Her career started on Long Island news tonight at the age of 19, and she later graduated from New York Institute of Technology.

She has gone on to work for some of the top networks in New York City including Fox News Network, Fox Business Network, and various other affiliates but while working for these entities she always planned on one day starting her own company. One day, with the knowledge that the industry was changing, and realizing that many of the positions were being eliminated, Alvina decided to step out on her faith in God, and all the qualities of determination that was within her.

More Media LLC became front and center in her life, offering professional athletes, actors, and business people the invaluable service of media marketing and branding. In 2016, Ms. Alston returned to Bennett High, where she was an alumnus with words of encouragement for their graduating class “that you too can achieve what you believe is your path.”

You have already proven them wrong by what you have achieved today.” Ms. Alston did not come alone; she brought one of her famous clients NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens who also brought words of encouragement to these young aspiring Bennett High school graduates. The top three graduating seniors in the class received a gift from Ms Alston in the form of an undisclosed amount of money to help them jump start their future endeavors…

This is but a small snippet of the magic of one of Buffalo’s best and most respected in her chosen field: public relations and media marketing.

This month of February in the year of 2020 we celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of Ms. Alvina Alston, founder and CEO of More Media LLC.

Ms. Alston is currently also working on a memoir of encouragement set to be released in the near future. Ms. Alston is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Strong Faith and determination the models of the success of Alvina Alston founder and owner of More Media LLC of New York City.
