Growing up in South Central New Jersey, my parents sent me to summer camp for disabled children in Hackettstown, New Jersey. In the camp there were two groups the North Jersey kids, and the South Jersey kids, and we would get into it at lunch time because we just did not like each other.

It would end up in a massive food fight. Now mind you these are disabled children with limited body movements. It did not stop them and food flew all over the place until the head master put a stop to it. This is where we are in our nation’s capitol.

Democrats are throwing food at Republicans and vice versa. These men and women are 35 years and older and know better, what makes it worse is the President of the United States is the chief culprit, the chief food thrower, in Washington D.C.

The United States of America is currently in an health crisis without a true leader. Most Americans do not care if its leader is right wing or left wing Democrat or Republican as long as said person can lead Americans out of danger and out of harm’s way.

This President of the United States would rather have a food fight with the governors of New York and California, than fix the problem at hand. He would rather go golfing every weekend in my home state of New Jersey.

The President would rather send Constitutional scholars scrambling to libraries to research what he said and if he could or could not do at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue wasting precious time not healing America from this invisible invading deadly force.

We have a 72-year-old man in Washington acting like a 3-year-old throwing temper tantrums when people don’t agree with him or cheese up to him when he speaks. This is not leadership, this is trying to create another bromance like the one with Mr. Putin.

The American public wants leadership and guidance they want calm words and soothing actions from Washington. You will get none of the above from this President.

Covid-19 is Mother Nature’s way of informing the world, things need and have to change. The world needs to slow down and smell the flowers, listen to the birds, and feel the warmth of the sun, and be nice to each other.

This virus does not care if you’re in a red state or a blue state, male or female, adult or child, Black or white. It does not care who you voted for this past November and who you will vote for in 2020. This virus does not care if you are a good person or bad. It just kills and disables people.

This President loves a food fight it’s more fun calling people names and creating racial strife, creating political turmoil, creating confusion and mistrust. He should be trying to sooth the nerves of the American public; instead he rattles their cages everyday with bombastic speeches and pointing fingers.

Words are powerful, the governor of New York and California uses the word “we” in their daily press conference consistently. These governors project the public image that everybody is working together for one goal, the health and welfare of the residents of New York and California.  This President continues to uses the word “I” in his press conference.

Just asked Shaquille O’Neal about the word “I” and what it meant to the late Kobe Bean Bryant. Laker teammates wanted O’Neal to talk to number 8 about passing the ball for a better shot. Kobe’s response was “I know there is no I in team but there’s is a M..E… in that M….F….”

This is where our President is, taking every shot no matter how bad it is. Kobe Bryant owned it, this President will not. Kobe Bryant dragged his teammates to victory, Donald John Trump will turn on those teammates and fire them.

It takes the world 52 weeks to spin around its axis. It took only a matter of weeks when the world faced another pandemic. Our leadership in Washington continues to look for credit and media ratings rather than an honest approach and a science-based solution. The folks in Washington want a pat on the back while senior citizens die in rehabilitation centers across this land. Many more Americans will die until this President runs out of food to throw. Maybe that was the plan in the first place.
